Undergraduate study

Applying to Cambridge may seem daunting, but we are here to help.

At Homerton, we pride ourselves on our inclusive nature and welcome applications from anyone with talent, potential and commitment, no matter their background or circumstances.

Our founders were radicals who fought to improve society and to do things differently. We aim to continue the College's long tradition of producing graduates who make significant and impactful contributions to society.

We offer around 190 undergraduate places each year and take students for all of the courses offered by the University of Cambridge. We are also proud to have one of the most diverse student communities of any Cambridge College. We take a holistic approach to admissions and consider all aspects of your application when offering places. This includes your exam record to date and your predicted results, school reference, personal statement, written tests, and interviews. There are many opportunities to show us your potential.

We understand there are sometimes difficult but unavoidable factors that may affect your academic record. If there is anything that you need to let us know about, this can be done via the Extenuating Circumstances Form. Anything you tell us will be treated with complete confidentiality.

Our Admissions pages will guide you through the application process once you have submitted your UCAS application. If you are a UK school student and would like further support applying to Cambridge then you may wish to explore our Access to Higher Education pages. If you have any questions about admissions please do contact our friendly admissions team at admissions@homerton.cam.ac.uk.
